Federal unemployment benefits have ended
Here are NJ programs to help families |
|
On Sept. 4, federal unemployment programs expired that added an extra $300 a week, extended benefits for 13 weeks for those who exhausted state benefits, and offered payments to those who previously weren’t eligible for unemployment, such as freelancers, gig economy workers, and independent contractors.
We understand that some individuals may need additional support while they are looking for a new career, training, and educational opportunities.
The Department of Economic Development and Gloucester County will continue to support those in need, and assist those looking for job opportunities. |
