FARS Instructions

*All permit fees for this process must be submitted to the Police Clerk once your FARS application has been completed and submitted. A background investigation will not commence until all permit fees have been submitted. Failure to submit your payment will delay your application process.

All Permit to Carry Applications must be submitted online through the New Jersey State Police website portal.
